I did this CT scan of my heart 20 years ago. Within 24 hours I had a five-way bypass. I didn't know I was that close to having a problem. I felt fine. I might've been a little overweight. But when I came out of it, in the recovery room, the surgeon, who was from Chicago, came ... I said, 'What's going on here, doc? I mean I felt fine. I'd never had no pain in my chest or anything.' He said, 'Dick, the best way I can explain it to you is that you had one foot in the grave and one on a banana peel. Because in 30 days it would've been over.'

The game is changing so much. It's not the same game anymore and I don't know, I don't like it. And the money that they're giving these people -- they don't have to workout with their pads two days in a row. Their antics, it's not for me anymore, sorry to say.
